The PCA9635PW,118 is a 16-bit Fm+ I2C-bus LED driver offering comprehensive control capabilities for LED lighting applications.

  • 1 MHz Fast-mode Plus compatible I2C-bus interface with 30 mA high drive capability
  • 256-step (8-bit) linear programmable brightness per LED output
  • 256-step group brightness control and group blinking functionality
  • Sixteen totem-pole outputs (sink 25 mA and source 10 mA at 5 V)
  • Output state change programmable on Acknowledge or STOP Command
  • Active LOW Output Enable (OE) input pin
  • 7 hardware address pins supporting up to 126 devices on the same I2C-bus
  • 4 software programmable I2C-bus addresses
  • Software Reset feature (SWRST Call)
  • 25 MHz internal oscillator requiring no external components
