Product Description

The MSP430F5438A-ET is an ultra-low power microcontroller. This architecture, when used in conjunction with multiple low-power modes, has been optimized to extend battery life in portable measurement applications. This device features a powerful 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and a constant generator that helps achieve excellent encoding efficiency. This numerical control oscillator (DCO) can be awakened from low-power mode to activation mode within 3.5µs (typical value). The MSP430F5438A-ET is a microcontroller configuration. It features three 16-bit timers, a high-performance 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), up to four universal serial communication interfaces (USCI), a hardware multiplier, a DMA, a real-time clock (RTC) module with alarm function, and up to 87 I/O pins.
