The PCA9685PW,118 is a 16-channel, 12-bit PWM Fm+ I2C-bus LED controller designed for advanced LED driving applications with precise brightness control and flexible configuration options.

• 16 LED drivers with programmable outputs: Off, On, Programmable LED brightness, Programmable LED turn-on time to reduce EMI
• 1 MHz Fast-mode Plus compatible I2C-bus interface with 30 mA high drive capability on SDA output
• 4096-step (12-bit) linear programmable brightness per LED output
• LED output frequency typically from 24 Hz to 1526 Hz (default 200 Hz refresh rate)
• Sixteen totem pole outputs (sink 25 mA and source 10 mA at 5 V) with software programmable open-drain selection
• Output state change programmable on Acknowledge or STOP Command
• Active LOW Output Enable (OE) input pin with programmable output states
• 6 hardware address pins supporting up to 62 devices on the same I2C-bus
• Hardware LED blinking capability via OE toggling
• 4 software programmable I2C-bus addresses with group addressing capabilities
• Software Reset feature (SWRST General Call) for I2C-bus reset
