1. Introduction

RH7901/RH7902 is a USB charging protocol port control IC. It can automatically identify the type of charging device and establish a handshake with the device through the corresponding USB charging protocol, enabling it to obtain the maximum charging current while protecting the charging device and saving charging time.

Application scope: Portable power banks, portable chargers, vehicle chargers Wait.

  • Operating Voltage: 4.5V to 5.5V
  • Dual-port control function (RH7902): Can independently support two USB charging protocol detection simultaneously
  • Supports multiple USB charging protocols, with automatic switching among them, including:
    • Divider1/Divider2/Divider3 charging protocol (specific for Apple)
    • D+/- set to 1.2V mode (specific for Samsung)
    • BC1.2 DCP and CTIS YD/T 1591-2009 charging protocols Agreement
  • Reliable power-on reset (POR) and low-voltage reset (LVR) performance
